At PAYLIT TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED (“we”, “us”, or “our”), we aim to create a trustworthy and efficient online marketplace where verified sellers can connect with customers across India. To maintain a smooth and secure environment for all participants, we have implemented the following Seller Registration Policy.

By signing up as a seller on shopnion.com, you agree to adhere to the conditions described in this document.

1. Seller Eligibility

To qualify as a seller on the PAYLIT TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED marketplace, applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

• Legal Entity: The seller must be a legally recognized business entity operating in India, including proprietorships, partnerships, private limited companies, or LLPs.

• GST Registration: A valid Goods and Services Tax (GST) registration number is mandatory for conducting sales on the platform.

• Bank Account: Sellers must provide an active Indian bank account in the registered business name to receive payments.

• Product Compliance: All items listed must comply with Indian laws and PAYLIT TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED product guidelines, excluding any restricted or prohibited goods.

2. Registration Procedure

To become a seller, follow the outlined steps:

Step 1: Create Your Account
Provide basic details such as your name, email, phone number, and business name. You will receive a verification code via email or SMS to confirm your contact.

Step 2: Submit Business Details
After verification, provide detailed business information, including:

• Official business name

• GST Identification Number (GSTIN)

• PAN card details for tax purposes

• Type of business entity (sole proprietorship, partnership, Pvt Ltd, LLP, etc.)

• Bank account number, branch, and IFSC code

Step 3: Upload Required Documents
Please submit scanned copies of the following for validation:

• Government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, or Driver’s License)

• Proof of address (utility bills, rent agreement, or similar)

• GST registration certificate

• Bank proof (cancelled cheque or bank statement)

• PAN card copy

Step 4: Review and Confirmation
Our team will assess your submitted details and documents. Upon successful verification, you will receive confirmation of your approval as a seller on shopnion.com. If any issues arise, we will notify you to rectify or provide further information.

3. Seller Obligations

Once registered, sellers are expected to fulfill these responsibilities:

3.1 Product Listings

• Ensure compliance with Indian laws including the Consumer Protection Act and intellectual property regulations.

• Provide truthful, detailed product descriptions, images, pricing, and availability information.

3.2 Pricing

• Charge appropriate GST and incorporate all taxes within your listed prices.

• Avoid price inflation or misleading offers.

3.3 Inventory & Order Management

• Maintain accurate stock levels and promptly process orders, typically within 48 hours, subject to availability.

3.4 Customer Support

• Respond promptly to customer queries and complaints.

• Adhere to PAYLIT TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED Return & Refund policies, ensuring timely processing of returns and refunds.

3.5 Packaging & Shipment

• Package products securely to avoid damage during transit.

• Ship orders within agreed timelines and provide tracking details.

4. Fees & Payment Terms

4.1 Commissions and Charges

• A commission fee, variable by product category, will apply to every sale and will be outlined in your seller agreement.

• Payment processing fees levied by our gateway partners will be deducted from your earnings.

4.2 Payment Settlement

• Payments will be transferred to your bank account after order fulfillment, following the settlement schedule outlined in your agreement.

• Refunds or returns initiated by customers will be debited from your seller account accordingly.

5. Seller Conduct Standards

As a marketplace participant, you commit to:

• Avoid misleading practices including false product claims or price manipulation.

• Respect all applicable intellectual property rights and refrain from selling counterfeit or pirated goods.

• Operate with integrity, fulfilling orders timely and maintaining accurate inventories.

6. Suspension & Termination

PAYLIT TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts for:

• Breach of product listing guidelines

• Repeated order fulfillment failures

• Fraudulent or unlawful conduct

• Consistently poor customer feedback

If suspension or termination occurs, you will be informed by email, and any pending balances will be handled per our payment policies.

7. Policy Updates

We may revise this policy at any time. All registered sellers will be informed of significant changes via email, and updated versions will be available on our website.
