To become a verified seller on PAYLIT TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED (operating through the platform shopnion.com), businesses must submit the appropriate documentation for identity confirmation, legal validation, and regulatory compliance. This helps maintain a secure and reliable ecosystem where only credible vendors are authorized to sell.

Outlined below are the required documents and onboarding standards applicable to different business structures:


1. Business Verification Documents

Based on your legal business type, the following proofs are required:

1.1 Individual / Sole Proprietor

  • Aadhaar Card (Proprietor)

  • Permanent Account Number (PAN) – Personal or Business

  • Proof of Business Address (any one):

    • Utility Bill (electricity/water/gas) – dated within the last 3 months

    • Registered Rent Agreement

    • Government-issued address verification

1.2 Registered Partnership Firms

  • Registered Partnership Agreement

  • Partnership PAN Card

  • GST Certificate (if registered)

  • Business Premise Proof – recent utility bill or rental agreement

  • Valid Photo ID of each partner (Aadhaar/Voter ID/Passport)

1.3 Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)

  • Incorporation Certificate from Ministry of Corporate Affairs

  • LLP Agreement

  • PAN of LLP

  • GST Registration Certificate (if applicable)

  • Official Address Proof

  • Government ID Proofs of authorized representatives

1.4 Private Limited Companies

  • Certificate of Incorporation (from RoC)

  • MOA & AOA (Memorandum & Articles of Association)

  • Company PAN Card

  • GST Registration Certificate

  • Board Resolution authorizing a representative to act on behalf of the entity

  • Utility Bill / Lease Agreement showing the business location

  • Valid ID Proof of the authorized signatory


2. Financial Information

To facilitate settlements and regulatory compliance, financial documents must include:

2.1 Bank Details

  • Recent Bank Statement or Cancelled Cheque
    (Should reflect account number, account holder name, and IFSC code)

2.2 Tax Registration

  • GST Certificate or

  • Declaration of Exemption (if not registered)


3. Product Compliance & Licenses

If your listings fall under specific regulated product categories, the following documents may also be requested:

3.1 Product Certification

  • BIS or Safety Approvals (for electronics, toys, etc.)

  • Import-Export Code (IEC) if involved in global trade

3.2 Brand Ownership / Intellectual Property

  • Trademark Registration Certificate (if selling branded goods)

  • Copyright Proof (for original art, content, etc.)

3.3 Food Products (FSSAI)

  • FSSAI License is mandatory for sellers offering edible items


4. Seller Identity & Communication Details

Accurate contact details are essential for communication and verification:

  • Registered Phone Number

  • Official Business Email ID

  • Government-issued Photo ID (Aadhaar/Passport/Voter ID/Driving License)

  • Letter of Authorization (if someone is acting on behalf of the business)


5. Platform Agreement & Terms

Sellers are required to acknowledge and agree to the following policies upon registration:

  • Terms of Use

  • Privacy Policy

  • Code of Conduct

  • Seller Service Agreement

Failure to comply with these terms may result in suspension or denial of seller privileges.


6. Uploading Guidelines

When submitting documents, ensure:

  • All files are readable, clear, and in one of the accepted formats: PDF, JPG, or PNG

  • No document exceeds the maximum upload size limit (10MB per file)

  • All sensitive details are visible and unaltered

Submissions that are blurry, outdated, or incomplete may delay account approval.


7. Document Verification Timeline

Our verification department reviews each application thoroughly.
The process generally takes 7 to 10 working days.
Updates, approval, or additional documentation requests will be shared via your registered email and/or phone.
